This icon set is meant to be used for the SailorCon. The Sailor Moon conference prides itself in being a unique anime convention that denounces the toxic masculinity of the classic Shounen anime fandom. The pictograms are inspired by the 8-bit art that is featured in video games, such as Sailor V from the original manga and show.

The main challenge lay in creating universally understandable wayfinding icons that reflected the branding of SailorCon while hitting the target demographics.
